Nepal Super League Season 4 has been postponed.
The fourth edition of the Nepal Super League (NSL) was originally scheduled to begin from Bhadra 20, 2083 (September 5, 2026). However, the tournament did not begin as planned, leaving clubs, players and supporters waiting for a revised schedule.
The fourth season had been announced with major changes, including a proposed home-and-away format and an expansion in the number of participating teams. The organisers had initially planned a much longer competition compared with previous editions.
According to NSL Director Shreyans Karki, the tournament could now be organised around February or March 2027. He also apologised to players, coaches, supporters and football stakeholders for the postponement. However, an exact new start date has not yet been officially confirmed.
The postponement comes amid challenges surrounding the organisation of the expanded competition, including the proposed home-and-away system, infrastructure and coordination with football authorities.
NSL Season 4 is therefore expected to return in early 2027, with fans now waiting for an official announcement regarding the final dates, participating teams, venues and fixtures.
